I'm just making a long time hobby into a career.

I love to take pictures and to go home and paint them. Anyone can take pictures of fun places they have been. But it is so much unique to have it painted and put on your wall. The imperfections of the art is what makes the picture real.

This might sound selfish, but I like to paint what inspires me. It really depends on the mood I’m in. One day I might be inspired by the Colorado mountains, sunset, snow, flowers, whatever. Another day, I might have a minimalistic mood and only want to paint the top of a cactus. My next painting is a reflection I saw on something. I can’t wait to start that one!

I want to think that I am different. I paint what I want. I paint because it is what I like to do. Selling my art is just a bonus. I also frame my own work and give it hanging materials to make your like just a little easier. I finish my artwork with resin which makes my artwork look like a photograph instead of a painting. After years of resining, the before and aftermath of each resining still amazes me. I also do interior decal painting. I have done murals for nurseries and fun accent walls for master suites. I have hosted painting parties at various people’s homes.

A little about me. Well, my first memory of coloring is when my Aunt Pat gave me a stencil book for my 4th birthday. With that book, I created stories with those stencils. I actually received a blue ribbon for my art and storybook at the 4-H Fair.  I've been making various art as a hobby ever since trying to find my niche. From there, I graduated college with a major in Interior Design and a minor in Art. Now I live in Denver with my family while I make a little hobby into a career.
